Ad hoc announcement pursuant to Art. 53 LR Pratteln, April 30, 2025 Annual Report 2024  HLEE Group with stable result in 2024 financial year Consolidated sales were CHF 404.1 million (previous year: CHF 421.4 million) due to production-related factors EBIT amounted to CHF -13.6 million (previous year: CHF -3.5 million) The equity ratio decreased to 26.3 % (previous year: 29.4 %). Consolidated total assets rose to CHF 806.9 million (previous year: CHF 790.5 million) Development of operating segments in 2024 Film segment: Seven movies were released in German theaters in the 2024 reporting year, “Chantal and the Magic Kingdom” und “Der Spitzname”. Both titles made it into the top 20 most successful movies released in Germany in 2024. In license trading/TV exploitation, licenses were again sold for several in-house and third-party productions, with established and also new partners, in 2024 as well. The highest-grossing films in 2024 were “Chantal and the Magic Kingdom” (“Chantal im Märchenland”), “Der Nachname”, “Contra”, “Rehragout-Rendezvous”, “Das perfekte Geheimnis”, and “Maybe I Do”. Sports and Events segment In the Sports and Events segment, TEAM Marketing AG focused on marketing rights and developing coverage of UEFA club competitions at the end of the third and final season of the 2021/22 to 2023/24 business cycle and preparing for the 2024/25 to 2026/27 business cycle. In the reporting year, Sport1 Medien AG focused on optimizing its portfolio of rights, improving and creating new digital content and marketing environments in addition to cross-platform content exploitation, networking and capitalization. Highlight Event AG’s business activities focused on the intensive support and realization of the agreements with the main sponsors of the Vienna Philharmonic on the one hand and the marketing for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025on the other hand. Outlook for 2025 Various factors such as inflation, rising energy prices, consumer behavior, and the current political crises are creating increased planning uncertainty for the 2025 fiscal year. The Board of Directors cannot rule out an impact on the operating activities of the HLEE Group. The Board of Directors, as in the previous year, is monitoring the current situation in the current year and regularly reviewing the measures taken. Additionally, the HLEE Group has a well-filled cinema slate and has planned the theatrical release of fourteen productions for the current 2025 fiscal year, including “Das Kanu des Manitu”, the sequel to one of the most successful German films of all time starring and directed by Michael Bully Herbig, the remake of the famous fantasy novel “Momo” by Michael Ende, the modern adaptation of the cult teen comedy “Mädchen Mädchen,” the sequel to the medieval epic “The Physician” and “Regretting You”. This offering will continue the high quality that the Group has already demonstrated in 2024. In the Sport and Event segment, the successful conclusion of the first league phase of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, as well as SPORT1's award of the rights to the German Soccer League for the 2025/26 to 2028/29 seasons, should also provide a solid foundation for further success. In general, SPORT1 will focus on the consistent use, distribution, and capitalization of content in fiscal year 2025. Following ACUNMEDYA's entry into Sport1 GmbH, the Entertainment division will be significantly expanded as part of the strategic cooperation through an extensive content offensive.
