Million-euro order secured in a growing high-tech segment Precision liquid cooling for high-frequency antenna technology Deployment in the ground station network for space communication Sassenberg, September 30, 2025 – Cutting-edge technology for the next stage of space communication: technotrans is supplying  highly precise liquid cooling systems with an order volume in the single-digit million-euro range to an established provider of communication technology. The innovative cooling systems will be used across a network of satellite ground stations. The aim is to ensure consistently stable data transmission for future space missions. “With this project, we are operating at the highest technological level and once again demonstrating our leading engineering expertise,” says Michael Finger, CEO of technotrans SE. “Our thermal management plays a key role in ensuring reliable communication over extreme distances of several hundred thousand kilometers.” To guarantee uninterrupted data transmission into space, powerful satellite antennas are being installed at several locations on Earth. These high-tech antenna systems require extremely precise thermal conditions with a temperature accuracy of 0.1 Kelvin at all sites. This is where technotrans’ expertise comes into play: the technology company has developed a liquid cooling system specifically tailored to these complex requirements for the high-frequency antennas.
